The Vancouver Bandits are the Lower Mainland’s professional basketball team. They play at the Langley Events Centre and compete in the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL).
The Bandits’ regular season runs from mid-May until early August, followed by the playoffs which conclude with the CEBL Finals in mid-August. With an average attendance of well over 4,000 fans in 2026, the Bandits enjoy the second-biggest crowds in the entire league! It’s a fun atmosphere and the team usually does well.
The Bandits will be hosting at least one playoff game in 2026! The team has clinched a top-two seed in the CEBL Western Conference, and will play a single-elimination Conference Semifinals game at the Langley Events Centre on Thursday, August 6th. There’s a chance that they could host further playoff games as well.

Vancouver Bandits Basketball in Langley
The Vancouver Bandits have competed in the CEBL since the league’s inaugural season in 2019. They were originally known as the Fraser Valley Bandits and played their home games in Abbotsford. The team moved to Langley ahead of the 2022 season and changed their name to the Vancouver Bandits the following year.
The Bandits are one of 10 CEBL teams, and play a 24-game season from late spring through the summer. Their home games are at the Langley Events Centre, located at 7888 200th Street. It’s about a 50-minute drive from downtown Vancouver.
While the Bandits haven’t yet won a CEBL championship, they’ve been a consistently strong team. They finished with the best regular season record in the Western Conference in both 2024 and 2025, and have made it to the CEBL Final twice (2020 and 2024), sadly losing on both occasions. They were a combined 19-3 at home across the 2024 and 2025 seasons. Talk about a home court advantage!
The 2026 Schedule
The Bandits have 11 regular season home games in 2026. They also have one neutral site game, on June 6th in Kelowna as part of the new Kelowna HOOPFEST Festival.

The top four teams in each conference qualify for the playoffs, which begin with the single-elimination conference semifinals (with the higher-seeded team in each matchup hosting). The same goes for the conference finals.
The CEBL Finals are a best-of-three series beginning with Game 1 at the home of the lower-seeded team. The higher seed then hosts Game 2, as well as Game 3 (if necessary).
Vancouver Bandits Tickets
Tickets to watch the Vancouver Bandits at the Langley Events Centre start at $25 for a single ticket. There is also a general admission section behind the end line on both sides of the court where you can buy a “4 point play meal deal” bundle, where if you buy a minimum of four tickets they each cost just $20 and also include a hot dog, bag of chips and soft drink for each person.
Tickets in the main bowl along the sideline cost up to $60, while courtside tickets range from $75 to $200 depending on where on the court they are and whether they’re front row or have other seats in front of them.
Jam Packs
Another way to save is through Jam Packs, which are highly flexible ticket packages. You can buy a Jam Pack that comes with either 8, 12, 16 or 24 tickets, and can use them in any configuration that you would like.
For example, if you bought a 12-ticket Jam Pack, you could redeem all 12 at the same game, or use three of them at four different games, or five at one and seven at another! Depending on how big of a pack you buy and in which section, you can save anywhere from 5% to 20% compared to buying individual tickets.
Season Tickets
Season tickets range from $250 for behind the end lines to $630 to the best sideline bowl seats and up to $2,200 for courtside.
The most affordable option is the Student Pass, which all students (from elementary to university) could buy for just $67 in 2026 and get a seat in the general admission section for every home game. There are a limited number of Student Pass tickets available each year and they typically sell out. Parents of students who get one can purchase an accompanying Adult Pass to sit in the same section for $167.

About the CEBL
The CEBL is a relatively recent addition to the Canadian sports landscape, having played its first season in 2019. At first, the league had six teams (including the Bandits). Now, it has 10, the most of any professional sports league that operates solely in Canada!
A unique feature of the CEBL is its use of the Elam Ending, or target score. In each game, the clock runs as normal (with four quarters of 10 minutes each) until the first stoppage of play with under four minutes to go in the fourth quarter.
At that point, the game clock turns off, and a target is set at nine more points than the current total of the leading team. For example, if the Bandits are winning 89-84 when the clock is stopped, then the target score is set at 98 points and the first team to reach that mark wins the game. This means that the game always ends with a “buzzer beater” of some sort, whether that be a three-pointer, two-pointer or free throw.
The Vancouver Bandits compete in the Western Conference, joined by the Calgary Surge, Edmonton Stingers, Saskatoon Mamba and Winnipeg Sea Bears. The top four teams in each conference make the playoffs.
Up until 2026, the CEBL playoffs included a Championship Weekend, where the semifinals and final took place at a single site, pre-determined before the start of the season. The host team was guaranteed a spot in the Championship Weekend.
The 2026 CEBL season is the first year of their new playoff format, which is a more traditional bracket with each game played on the home court of one of the teams in the matchup. The Finals will also be a best-of-three series, marking the first non-single elimination playoff games in CEBL history.
